Friday 13th, 20th and 27th June - Beginners Crochet
Come and join us for a mini beginners crochet course at The Craftwork Studio in Standish, Wigan.
Learn all the basic stitches needed to start your crochet journey, how to crochet the iconic granny square and beautiful flowers.
Classes take place on Friday 13th, 20th and 27th June 2014 from 7pm - 9pm.
Free parking at the venue and on the main bus route.
£45 for the course.
Price includes a starter kit (yarn, hook and stitch markers and comprehensive notes of what we cover) and refreshments (wine, soft drinks and pizza!)
Booking is essential as place are limited to 8 

Sunday 29th, 11am - 3pm
Beyond the Granny Square - Summer Lace Scarf @ The Coven, Wigan

The perfect workshop for those of you who have the basic stitches and are ready for something a bit more challenging!

We will be crocheting the fabulous Luna Lovegood pattern - a lace scarf in a lightweight, cotton yarn. Focusing on pattern reading, lace stitches and the picot stitch edging, you will develop your crochet knowledge further.

The scarf requires 400m of dk weight yarn. I can provide a lightweight cotton yarn, in your choice of colour or, you are more than welcome to bring your own yarn with you!
You will also need a 4.5mm crochet hook.

Cost: £25 without yarn, £33 with yarn

Price includes a drink and muffin at break time.

(This workshop is suitable for any crocheter who can chain and make the double and treble crochet stitches!)

Sunday 13th July - Felt It!  Felt Sushi Roll Beads 
Learn the art of wet felt making to produce beautiful beads. By the end of the workshop, you will have produced enough beads to make a long necklace or bracelet.

Please note that felt making uses merino wool and you will get wet during this workshop.

All materials and refreshments at break time are included in the price.
Cost: £30

Crochet Workshops at Home
For just £15 a person, I will come and teach a private workshop in the comfort of your own home.  Workshops last 3 hours and are tailor made to suit you - a technique you'd love to learn or a pattern you want to crack.  
From 3 to 8 people - why not host your own crochet tea party?
Price refers to workshops within 15 miles of Wigan.
